ROOM SIX’S GARDEN MAKEOVER

Room six decided to give their ugly garden a massive makeover.  The garden was a dry, dusty wasteland.  Weeds were sitting comfortably in the hard soil.

Room six and Ms Llewell had a big discussion and soon decided to write some persuasive letters to four local garden centres (Placemakers, Mitre 10, Hammer Hardware and Palmers).

One day Toby Tomkinson received a call from Mitre 10.  They wanted to offer us some fresh plants!  Ms Llewell and four volunteer children went to pick up the new fresh plants after school.

Mrs Marsh, Jacob’s mum came over the next day to help Room six  plant the new lush plants into their ugly garden.  Each of the Room 6 children got to plant at least one of the beautiful plants.

Room six’s garden has now been transformed from a dry, dusty desert into a beautiful lush garden, all thanks to Mitre 10.
